Indoor Winter Activities - Beating the cold weather boredom
It’s difficult enough to keep ourselves going in the gray winter months, much less keep the little ones happy. You could just hand them a video game or some electronic gadget to get them out of your hair right? Wrong.
You can keep them active and happy with some simple, new twists or some old favorites.
- Indoor Winter Activities - Indoor Activities for Winter Boredom - Parenting.com.
- If you have toddlers at home in need of something to keep them occupied, here’s a wonderful list of things to do and you don’t have to be supermom to pull it off.
- Don’t forget reading to your kids! There is nothing like a book, a blankie and time spent with you.
- Get out the sheets and build a play tunnel in your living room. Let the kids help you drape the sheets over furniture to make tunnels and crawl spaces and watch them go.
- Plastic cups and pots and pans were always a favorite at my house. Regardless of the pile of toys readily available, kids love mom’s pots and pans.
- Let them decide on a subject and have a drawing contest. They vote on the winner, of course. State trees, birds and flowers would be fun!
Oh, there’s lots to do, so go enjoy some indoor winter activities with your kids. You only get to do this once, you know!
