I made a trip to the public library yesterday. Yes, it’s still there with shelves of books lining the walls and filling the aisles. Information, free and tangible!

Yes, I said tangible. Something I can touch, feel, hold in my hands, turn the pages…and read.

I do a fair job at staying in touch with technology. I have epub and mobi files here and there. But I’m not letting go of my paperbacks and hardcover books. No. No. No. I need them. You need them and more importantly, your kids need them.

In celebration of Children’s Book Week, we’re entering the Kit Lit Giveaway Hop to offer our readers a chance to win free books. To have and to hold…

The blog hop is sponsored by Mother Daughter Book Reviews and Youth Literature Reviews, two wonderful blogs dedicated to literacy.

The giveaway takes place May 13 through 19. Stay tuned for a chance to win prizes from authors, bloggers and other online businesses across the net.

Our giveaway is a paperback copy of The Great Majestic Fortress and a $10 credit toward a Kids Book Group book of your choice.

Of course, you can always download our free coloring book, Harmony’s House, a storybook to color and for a limited time, a free copy of True Love for Me?

What is a blog hop?

A blog hop is a linky list that is SHARED ON MULTIPLE BLOGS.
When several blogs put the same linky list code on their blog, the
exact same list appears on each blog.Blog visitors can submit their entries on any blog that contains the list.
The entries will appear on each blog where the list resides.

Blog readers see the same list on each blog, and can “HOP” from blog
to blog seeing the same list of links to follow: BLOG HOP!
