Mary Fam shares this great Fall Leaves Graphing  activity that is sure to be a hit with kids!

  1. Using chalk or tape, make a simple graph (y & x axis) on the ground, sidewalk or driveway.
  2. Get kids to collect fall leaves of various size, shape and color.
  3. Create labels that correspond with the fall leaves collected (Red, Small, Brown, etc)
  4. Have  kids arrange the leaves according to their category in the graph.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT: Gross Motor /Fine Motor,  intellectual / Spatial sense – sorting/categorizing of the leaves)
