Mary Fam shares this great Fall Leaves Graphing activity that is sure to be a hit with kids!
- Using chalk or tape, make a simple graph (y & x axis) on the ground, sidewalk or driveway.
- Get kids to collect fall leaves of various size, shape and color.
- Create labels that correspond with the fall leaves collected (Red, Small, Brown, etc)
- Have kids arrange the leaves according to their category in the graph.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT: Gross Motor /Fine Motor, intellectual / Spatial sense – sorting/categorizing of the leaves)
